Memorial Walk - Sunday, January 29, 2009 

We commemorate with reverence for God, the sad time in our history when the Supreme Court of the United States decided that abortion could be legal throughout all nine months of pregnancy, in the 1973 Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton decisions. Young and old are encouraged to come to this moving interdenominational event on the fourth Sunday of January.  

Golf Outing - May, 2009 

Mark your calendars for the Tenth Annual Respect Life Golf Outing at Plum Creek Country Club (Date to be announced).

Roses for Life

Each year Right to Life of Indianapolis has a Rose Drive to raise funds to help us in our mission of speaking out for those who cannot speak for themselves - the unborn, newborn, those with disabilities and the aged. The drive also serves to remind us that we must all continue to work to build respect for the sanctity of life from conception to natural death.

Bike 'n' Hike - Saturday, June 2009 

What: 5K Competitive Run, 10/25-mile Bike, 5-mile Family Bike & 1-mile Fun Walk
Where: Marian College, Indianapolis
When:  June, 2009 (Date to be announced). 
Fees: Pre-reg. - $20, race day - $25
(Kids 12 & under are FREE). 
Prizes: Prizes will be given to the top three fundraisers, so ask your friends, family & co-workers to sponsor you.

Celebrate Life Dinner - Tuesday, September 16, 2008

Keynote speaker:  Jason S. Jones, a pro-life advocate and co-executive producer of the feature film Bella.  
Tickets are $55 per person ($50 if requested before Aug. 16).  The public is invited.  Reservations and information at the Right to Life office--317-582-1526 or e-mail life@rtlindy.org.

Essay Contest

Each year Right to Life of Indianapolis sponsors an annual Essay Contest for all Indianapolis area 7-12 grade students. There are four individual contests, one for 7th grade, one for 8th grade, one for 9th & 10th grades and one for 11th & 12th grades. Each student entry must have a sponsoring organization, such as a church, school or home school organization. The sponsoring organization must be located in Marion County or one of the seven bordering counties.  The 2008 essay contest application deadline is April 1, 2009.

Art Contest

Right to Life of Indianapolis sponsors an annual art contest open to all students enrolled in grades 9 – 12. The contest is open to students who reside in Marion County, or any of the bordering counties.  The 2009 art contest application deadline is April 17, 2009.

Speech Contest - April, 2009 

Each year Right to Life of Indianapolis holds a Speech Contest for 11th and 12th grade students. The contest is open to students who reside in Marion County, or any of the bordering counties. Contestants must present a speech on abortion, infanticide, euthanasia or stem cell research (Date to be announced).  

Annual Collegiate Scholarship

In our effort to recognize and develop pro-life convictions and leadership among the students in the Indianapolis area, Right to Life of Indianapolis awards an Annual $1000 Pro-Life Scholarship. This scholarship will assist a student who has shown pro-life commitment and involvement during high school and dedication to the pro-life philosophy as they continue their education in college or a vocational program.  The 2009 scholarship application deadline is April 1, 2009.
