Black Expo
Right to Life of Indianapolis is very happy to support the Indiana Black Expo's Summer Celebration. Our exceptional volunteers always have a great time meeting and talking with Expo visitors.
Black Expo: July 15-18, 2010
Black Expo is at the Indianapolis Convention Center and RCA Dome. We have pro-life information available to those attending. No experience is necessary to volunteer. A person with experience with the pro-life issues will be at the booth each hour of the Expo. Anyone wanting further information on volunteer opportunties can e-mail us or call the Right to Life office at 317-582-1526. The Black Expo is a great opportunity to get local churches involved by having members take a time slot or two and to have persons in their church committed to praying for those who are volunteering.

Volunteers from many different areas of the city man our booths.
Many teens volunteered to help start a Teen's for Life in their schools! Many more volunteered to work for Crisis Pregnancy Centers and to work at our various venues. Again it was amazing to see hearts and minds informed and changed. Over and over people commented they had no idea "it was a baby." One older woman said she thought it was just like a "blob of cells."
We had hundreds of opportunities to educate on fetal development and partial birth abortion or to offer counsel using the many materials and services available. We had many who had their hearts and minds changed regarding the unborn and abortion. Many more, who already believed in the miracle of life, were given materials to pass on to others. We have many new volunteers as a result of Black Expo to help in our efforts on behalf of life and several new venues were opened to our Speaker's Bureau.
